Aunt Nell lived in Fayette, Missouri for several years. She was married to Irving S. Jackson on August 22, 1940, and they had four children: Irving S. "Bud" Jackson, Jesse Dale, Susie and Shelby Jean.
Cornella was the first-born from a family of 12. After her, there was my dad, McKinley Combs, then Edith Lee, Leonard Elwood, Conrad, Lloyd Calvin, Irvin Edwin, Glenn Howard, Ulyesses Grant and Linda Lou Combs. All of this particular Combs family was born in Perry County, Kentucky.

Cornella was cremated. Her ashes were buried on September 26, 2009, next to her husband, Irving S Jackson.
