Obituary for Lucille (Brown) Nave
Lucille Alberta Nave, 72, of Decatur died at 7:40 p.m. October 10, 2002 at home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua. Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice.
Lucille was born June 13, 1930. She was the daughter of John and Mary (Smith) Brown and she was the adopted daughter of Oscar and Charity McClain.
She volunteered for many worthy causes such as the March of Dimes, Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation, Cerebral Palsy Foundation and others. She was a member of Morningside Church of Christ, Decatur. She served as a Sunday School teacher in Moweaqua.
She married Reuben A. Nave in Piggott Arkansas on August 12, 1949.
Surviving are her husband, sons David and wife Mary Nave of Moweaqua, William and wife Diana Nave of Decatur, James Nave of Decatur; daughters Linda Nave of Decatur, Elizabeth and husband Dan Powless of Bethany, Brenda and husband Terry Helm of Decatur, Virginia Sloan of Decatur, Lila and husband Bruce Reidelberger of Decatur; brothers Larry Brown of Yale and John McClain of Altamont., 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter Mary Ruth, parents, sisters Lila Davis and Delores Johnson; brother Theodore.
