"Rev. Robert Dilworth, D.D. Rev. Robert Dilworth was closely identified with this [Shenango] Presbytery in all his ministral life. He was a son of George Dilworth, a godly elder in Mt. Pleasant Church. He attended Greersburg Academy at Darlington, graduated at Jefferson College, studied theology under Rev. Thomas E. Hughes, and was pastor of Little Beaver Church for over thirty years. He was stated clerk of the Presbytery for sixteen years. He was a man of sound judgment and clear intellect, and preached faithfully the grand old doctrines of the cross. He wielded a potent influence for good throughout the Presbytery."
