Marian, a devout Christian, rendered valuable assistance to her father, William Mosby Allison and stepmother, Alberta, in gospel mission work in Joplin, Missouri where they resided. Marian Elizabeth Allison Butler died 9 Dec 1980 in Pittsburg, Crawford, Kansas.

"ALLISON SERVICES

Final rites were held today at the Assembly of God church for Rev. William M. Allison, 96, of Baxter Springs. He died Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W.E. Butler of Pittsburg. Rev. Oscar H. Bolen officiated, assisted by Rev. L. F. Ammons of Baxter Springs. Interment was in Carterville, MO., cemetery. The Ward-Bobbitt funeral home was in charge of arrangements."
