There is no proof that his father was George Gunn, originally from Breamore, Scotland, or that he married Elizabeth Brown.

Thomas Gunn was probably from Devon, England (where today there are still many Gunns). He died 29 Feb 1681 in Westfield and is buried with his wife, Elizabeth, in the Old Burying Ground off Mechanic Street in Westfield, MA. Thomas was my 7th great grandfather.
