Moss Bluff - Funeral services for Elton P. Benoit, 75, were Monday, Feb. 10, 1992 from St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Louis Melancon officiated. Burial was in Consolata Cemetery under direction of Hixon Funeral Home.
Mr. Benoit died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 1992 in Lake Charles.
A native of Scott, he lived in the Lake Charles area most of his life. He was an usher at St. Theodore Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus council 3622 and was a World War II veteran. He retired from Sears & Roebuck as an electrical technician.
Survivors are four sons, Lynn J., Glynn A., David K. & John D. Benoit all of Lake Charles; one daughter, Cynthia Knight of Topsy; one brother, Eli Benoit of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Celice Hebert of Moss Bluff, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
