LONACONING,MARYLAND -- John T. "Jack" Duckworth, 61, of 1316 Longview St., Mesquite, Texas, formerly of Lonaconing, died Monday, June 19, 2000, at the Medical Center of Mesquite.
Born in Lonaconing on March 21, 1939, he was the son of the late John S. and Mary A. (Thomas) Duckworth.
Mr. Duckworth served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion of Mesquite.
Surviving are three sisters, Alma Jean Duckworth, Jo Ann S. Brinkman, and Mary Lou Tyson, all of Mesquite; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland, on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Mortimore officiating.
