After an extended illness, Mr. Thomas W. Edwards, 81, of 413 E. Main st, Louisville passed away last Thursday afternoon at the Marcelle Nursing Home. Born in Alliance, the son of Thomas W. and Sarah Jones edwards, he had resided in the Louisville area for more than 50 years.
Mr. Edwards was a member of Liberty Council # 70 Jr. OUAM. A retired foundry worker, he was also a member of the Molders Union for 64 years.
His wife, Anna (nee Tanner) , preceded him in death in 1964.
He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Jennie (Charles) Laughlin and Mrs. Lester (Mary) Wey of Massillon, Mrs. Hubert (Shirley) Howes of North Canton, Mrs. Albert (Ann) Flitcraft, Mrs. John (Doris) Zancourides and Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Sluss of Louisville; two sons, Thomas W. III (Lucille) of Louisville, and John R. (Dorothy) of New Zealand; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
