Hazel Sasser was born on October 24, 1918, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Grover and Elizabeth Sasser.
She was united in marriage to Curtis Blevins, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by five sons: Roy E. Blevins and wife, Della, of Gray, Gene A. Blevins, Marion E. "Bill" Blevins, Nolan D. Blevins and wife, Tresia, all of Corbin, and Matthew Blevins and wife, Pamela, of Gray,
27 grandchildren
54 great-grandchildren
22 great-great-grandchildren,
plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
She is also preceded in death by one daughter: Lois Ann Blevins,
three brothers: Delmar, Charles and Robert "Bob" Sasser,
three sisters: Maggie, Effie and Mary Smith, and two grandsons.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Hazel Sasser departed this life in Gray, Kentucky, on Friday, April 24, 2009.
