Denver Conductor Dies in Hospital

Robert E Batson, 69-year old Fort Worth & Denver railroad conductor, died Saturday night at St. Joseph's Hospital at Forth Worth, according to word received here. He resided at 312 North Pierce Street. The body will arrive in Amarillo tomorrow morning. Funeral services will be held at the Griggs Funeral Chapel here and burial probably will be in California. Definite arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Myrtle Morgan, a daughter of Huntington, Calif., will arrive here tomorrow.

Batson Body Sent On to West Coast

The body of Robert R. Batson, 69, who died in Fort Worth Saturday, was set from here to Los Angeles, Calif., for funeral and burial services. Mr. Batson. A former Fort Worth & Denver conductor, lived here for several years. He had been ill at a hospital for some time. Mrs. Myrtle Morgan, a daughter who lives at Los Angeles, accompanied the body to Los Angeles. The body was at N. S. Griggs & Sons Chapel until today noon. It arrived from Fort Worth yesterday.
