Joseph Sorrention, 75, of Las vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 10, 1920, in Montecalvo, Italy. A 23 year resident, he was a retired art gallery director, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion, national chapter.
He is survived by his wife, Rita one daughter, Debra Sorrentino-Larson of Orlando, Fl; two sons, Frank Sorrentino and Anthony Sorrentino, both of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Ann Giesguth of Smithville, NJ; two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Mass Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church, Entombment will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary 1600nS Jones Blvd is handling arrangements.
