Mary Catherine Holstlaw died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lelah Williamson at Pekin, Illinois, at 5 p.m. d. s. t. Wednesday, June 28. She was born January 17, 1861, the daughter of Abraham and Sarah Jane Johnson Snavley at Bucyrus in Ohio. She was a resident of Mason County for 62 years and was married to Isaac Newton Holstlaw, Oct. 28 1885. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lelah Williamson, Pekin, Mrs. Clara Sathoff, Kilbourne; Mrs. Marie Bartlet, Danville; Mrs. Anna May Chow, Georgetown, and two sons, John Holstlaw, Easton; and Elvin H. Holstlaw, Danville, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Hawks, Kilbourne, and Mrs. Laura Davis, Havana; and 20 grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1938. Funeral services will be held today (Friday), June 30, at 2 p. m. at the Himmel-Russell Memorial Home with Joseph W. Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon cemetery near Kilbourne. Pallbearers are John Sears, Ira Sears, Albert Sears, Lotus Hawks, Oren Farrow, and Chas. Showalter, Jr.
