John Edwin Ainsworth Dies after Operation
John Edwin Ainsworth of Georgetown and Wilmington Del died early Monday morning in Wilmington following an appendix operation.
Upon arrival here from Wilmington on Wednesday the body remained at the Mayer Funeral Home until ten o'clock Thursday morning when the funeral services were held at Duncan Memorial Methodist Church conducted by the Rev HLF Shuler pastor. Interment was made in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr Ainsworth was born in Wilmington on November 29 1864. He was an active member of the Duncan Church here was a Mason.
He is survived by his sons Paul and Earl Ainsworth both of Georgetown Ralph Ainsworth of Florence, Leroy Ainsworth of Cheraw and Leslie Ainsworth of Chattanooga Tenn; two daughters Mrs RO Jones and Mrs Lucy Ainsworth Jones both of Georgetown and a brother WG Ainsworth and two sisters Mrs WS Mortimer and Mrs Elizabeth Beaty all of Wilmington Del.
