Rev. Philip Hedrich, Sr was the son of Philip and Aletta Martina (Winge) Hedrich. Edith Florence (Countryman) Dedrich was his 1st wife. They were married August 16, 1898. Edith died December 1898. Irene (Blanchard) Hedrich was his 2nd wife. They were married June 20, 1901. Irene died in 1950. Rev. Hedrich was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: L 1899 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1910. He supplied Bliss and Eagle, NY 1908-1909 - East Otto and Eddyville, NY 1910. He died of cardio-vascular-renal disease. His death certificate was signed by Dr. H. Paul Frantz.
