Pauline Vandiver, 90, of Midway Street died at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 1999, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a retired housekeeper at Columbus Regional Hospital and was a member of Parkside Baptist Church.

Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Robert Langdon officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Vandiver was born in Nelson County, Ky., July 3, 1909, the daughter of Haze and Mary Cash Mobley. She was the widow of Wilbert Vandiver who died July 5, 1960.

Survivors include a son, Joe E. Vandiver of Reddington; daughters, Hallie Henderson and Elizabeth Adams, both of Columbus, and Laura Mayes of Hope; sisters, Inez Henderson of Nevada and Rita Henderson of Columbus; a brother, David Nicholas of Nevada; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Vandiver.
