Kathleen E. WERTZBERGER, 93, Franklin United Methodist Home, Franklin, formerly of Rochester, passed away at 7:43 p.m. Monday at the Franklin United Methodist Community Health Care Center. Arrangements are pending at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.

Kathleen E. WERTZBERGER, 93, Franklin United Methodist Home, Franklin, formerly of Rochester, passed away at 7:43 p.m. Monday at Franklin United Methodist Community Health Care Center.
Born on Jan. 16, 1911, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Charles and Grace Beattie Raymer Sr. On Nov. 9, 1929, in Rochester, she married Howard R. Wertzberger. He preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2001.
Mrs. Wertzberger was a homemaker. She was a 79-year member of First Christian Church where she was active in the church choir, ladies circle CWF, and a member of the Friendship Class, as well as helping in the church kitchen.
Survivors include two sons, Joe and wife Marcia Wertzberger, Greenwood, Jim Wertzberger, Franklin; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Belle Raymer Bailey; and one brother, Charles Raymer Jr.
Her funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, 1101 Jefferson St., Rochester, with the Rev. Woody Slade officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to her service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial is in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Rochester.
