HUMBOLDT, KS. - Nadine M. Tucker, 64, Humboldt, Kansas, died Monday, March 29, 2004, at her home.
She was born May 13, 1939, in Earlton, Kansas, the daughter of Leroy S. and Mary E. (Smedley) Lopeman.
She attended Chanute High School.
On Aug. 20, 1955, she married William Tucker in Chanute, Kansas. He survives.
She worked for The Golden Bow and Young America in Chanute as a sales person.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Chanute and the Jesus Connection Class in the church. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden and bird watching.
Other survivors include two daughters, Cheryl A. Miller, Humboldt, KS, and Gail L. Clements, Comanche, IA; a son, Steven W. Tucker, Humboldt, KS; four sisters, JoAnn Dickerson, Humboldt, KS, Mary Ann Lopeman, Boone, IA, Phyllis Taylor, Story City, IA, and Arleen Negle, Jewell, IA; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 2, 2004, at the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Chanute, KS, led by the Rev. Dan Haggard. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, Kansas.
Memorials to the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Horizon Hospice or the American Cancer Society may be left with the funeral home.
Johnson Kunkel Mortuary, Humboldt, is in charge of arrangements.
