Still striving to find documentation on my dear Grandpa Robert. I have been able to find a grainy photo from a newspaper article. It was a beautiful moment to see his face for the first time. My father truly is his twin, they look so much alike. My heart was very happy to have in my possession this photo of grandpa Robert.

Haven't made much progress on finding out new info on my dear Grandpa Robert. He is the only grandparent I've never known. I had the opportunity to have an online meeting with a well known genealogist but her fees were too high, hopes dashed.
I created this memorial for my Grandfather. He is the only Grandparent I never knew. I am trying desperately to find information on him, especially where he may be buried.
I also have not been able to find him in the Social Security Death Index. I've spent a lot of hours researching, but haven't been able to find much on any of my elusive Parrish family.
I've been told he at one time was a mortician's helper in Philadelphia, I presume. On the 1940 census, I see his job listed as Investigator. I've also been unsuccessful in trying to obtain his college records from Virginia State University.
