Daughter of Marion and Nancy (Durrett) Whitman and wife of Seaborn Ivy Denson, who is also buried at Pisgah Cemetery (south of Nesmith AL). They were married in Cleburne County AL on 17 April 1901, moved to Louisiana (Monroe, Ouachita Parish) sometime around 1903, moved to Winston County AL around 1905/1906, then back to Cleburne County AL sometime after 1907, then moved back to Winston County AL around 1916 or shortly thereafter, then to Lawrenceburg TN around 1927, and then back to Winston County AL a year or two after that. This union produced eight children: Marion Birdie Denson, Gertrude (Denson) Kennedy, Sidney Love (Denson) Parris, Pern Iva (Denson) Kilgo, Robbie Dovie (Denson) Bjornstad, Benton Ellis Denson, Lone Laniard Denson, and Howard Phillip Denson, whose memorial links are provided below.
