Listed as dead is Robert D. Keig, United States Marines gunnery sergeant, whose only surviving relative is his sister, Miss Celia R. Keig, 26 Leom Avenue, Arcadia.

Forty-five years of age, he was killed in action Aug. 8. He is a veteran of the first World War having enlisted at the age of 19 and saw service under fire with the Ammunition Corps of the A.E.F.

He re-enlisted for this war at an unknown port, probably on the China coast, where he last reported he was in the insurance business, his sister said. He was born in Wisconsin and graduated from the Iron (Mich.) High School.
