US Congressman. A 1964 graduate of Harvard Law School, he was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1965, and began a law practice in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. After four years serving in the United States Air Force as a Captain (1966 to 1969), he became a professor at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, teaching there until he ran for office in 1982. In that year he was elected as a Democrat to represent Pennsylvania’s 11th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, serving a single term from 1983 to 1985. After leaving office he returned to his Wilkes-Barre law practice and King’s College professorship, and passed away in 2009 in Galveston, Texas.
