Survivors: sons & daughters-in-law, Jim & Nancy Ganser; Jack & Judi Ganser, both of Lincoln; Dennis Michael & Carolyn Ganser, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Gregory, Sean & Kevin Ganser; Chris Grupe; Adam & Nan Strait; Lindsey Lacey; five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; brothers, Father Thomas Dowd; Dick Dowd; devoted niece, Janet Warner; nephews, Pat Dowd & Michael Dowd; beloved cousin, Judy Eddy; many other loving cousins, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by: parents; husband, Maurice "Bud" James Ganser, Sr.; brothers, Frank, Jim, Jack & Mike; granddaughter, Cheryle Hanzel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Monday (6/8/09) at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1720 Lake Street, with Father John R. Sullivan, Monsignor Liam Barr and Father Thomas Dowd officiating. Visitation: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (6/7/09) with the Rosary Service at 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, to Villa Marie School, 7205 N. 112th Street, Waverly, NE 68462; Pius X Foundation, 6000 "A" Street, Lincoln, NE 68510; or donor's charity of choice.
