Rev. Ira Fairbanks was the son of Nahum and Lucinda (Houghton) Fairbanks. Charity/Charlotte Hill Fairbanks was his 1st wife. They were married Augusta, Oneida Co., New York about 1810 and had four children. She died Coldwater, Michigan July 15, 1838 - Age 49y 4m 21d. Mercy (Stewart) Fairbanks was his 2nd wife. They were married in 1839. Mercy died May 31, 1857. Rev. Fairbanks was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee Conference 1811 F 1813 East Genesee Conference at organization 1848.
