Oliver F. Kelly Jr., 75, of Western Avenue, Westover, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at his home. He was born May 14, 1925, in Carnesville, son of the late Oliver F. and Anna Rachael Wilhelm Kelly Sr. He had been employed as a mechanic and truck driver for Ringer Trucking in Markleysburg, Pa, for more than 30 years, had served with the Army in the 1st Infantry Division during World War II and was a member of the VFW in Terra Alta. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Savage Wolfe Kelly, of Markleysburg; two sons and a spouse, Michael and Marjorie Kelly, of Westover, and John Kelly, of Point Marion Road, Morgantown; a daughter, Patricia Cordwell, of Arthurdale; five stepsons and spous es, Roger and Kathleen Wolfe, of Teton, Idaho, Stanley and Joyce Wolfe, of Markleysburg; Ed and Cindy Wolfe, of Chambersburg, Pa., Duncan and Bobbie Wolfe, of Bruceton Mills, and Keith and Shelly Wolfe, of Fort Hill, Pa; a stepdaughter and spouse, Cheryl and Sam Welling, of Markleysburg; a sister and spouse, Dorothy and Charles Coffman, of Westover; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; nine stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and a nephew, Robert Coffman, of Melbourne, Fla. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Gertrude Kelly; and a half-brother, Charles Elwood Strawser. Burial will be in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the Westover VFW Post 9916.
