Rev. Isaac Newton Dalbey was the son of Joseph and Emeline L. (Kiger) Dalbey, Jr. He was the husband of Helen Augustine (Gregg) Dalbey. He was a physician before he became a minister in the Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. Dalbey served during the Civil War. He died of exhaustion and nephritis.
