Rev. Dr. Robert Earl Cushman, Sr. was the son of Rev. Bishop Ralph Spaulding and Maude Estella (Hammond) Cushman. He was the husband of Barbara Priscilla (Edgecomb) Cushman. They were married September 12, 1936. Barbara died July 6, 1992. Rev. Dr. Cushman was a minister in the Genesee (now Western New York) Conference/Northern New York Conference and North Carolina Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church/The Methodist Church/United Methodist Church.
