WaKeeney -- Margaret Billinger, 94, died at Trego County Hospital, WaKenney, Sunday. She was born April 24, 1883 at Victoria, the daughter of Michael and Anna Knoll. She had lived in the Collyer area most of her life.

She married Alexander Billinger in 1901 at St. Peter; he died July 12, 1960.

She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Collyer, the Christian Mothers Society, and the Collyer American Legion Auxiliary. She also was a Gold Star Mother.

Surviving: two sons, Wendeline, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., and Albert, Anadarko, Okla.; four daughters, Mrs. Madeline Gerstner, Cheyenne Wells, Colo., Mrs. Katherine Pfeifer, Ness City, Mrs. Esther Dreiling, Salina, and Mrs. Mary Brown, Commerce City, Colo.; one brother, Peter Knoll, Morland; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Schreiner, Topeka, Mrs. Katherine Billinger, Garden City, and Mrs. Beata Schreiner, Morland; 36 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Anthony's Church, St. Peter, Fr. Urban O. Iffert; St. Anthony's Cemetery. Friends may call at St. Peter Community Hall after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Parish Rosary will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at the hall. Hendricks Funeral Home, WaKeeney is in charge of arrangements.
