ARTHUR LOFBACK PASSES AWAY

Mr. Arthur Donald Lofback, aged 40, well known local young man, passed away at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Hancock Monday morning at 3 o'clock. He had been a patient there for 2 weeks, suffering from a heart ailment. He has been in feeble health for several years.

The deceased was born in Mass on July 6, 1908 and spent his entire life here. He was employed as a school bus driver here before his illness.

The body was removed to the Driscoll Funeral Home in Ontonagon where it will remain until Thursday noon when it will be taken to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mass. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Thursday with the Rev. A. Niskanen officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Greenland cemetery.

Left to mourn are the mother, Mrs. Emelia Lofback, 3 brothers, John, Wilbert and Evalo of Mass and 1 sister, Mrs. John Riippa of Winona. The father died 10 years ago.

The family have the sympathy of their many friends.
