Thursday, November 17, 1887
DIED - at his home near Russell, Iowa, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1887, John Wymer, aged 79 years.
Deceased was born in the state of Pennsylvania, Nov. 6th, 1808, and moved to Muskingum county, Ohio, with his parents at that age of four years.
He was married to Rebecca Gaumer, July 14th, 1831, and joined the Evangelical Lutheran church in the spring of 1849, of which he was a faithful member the rest of his life.
His wife died June 7th, 1854, and in the fall of 1855 he was married to Margaret Wagoner. In the fall of 1869 they moved to Lucas county, Iowa.
Father Wymer leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his loss. His death was peaceful.
