Mrs. Hitner was a member of the Methodist Church and is survived by two sons, William E. and Cecil DeWert, Monroeville; three daughters, Mrs. Winona Poland, Monroeville, Mrs. Althea Moye, Norfolk, O., and Mrs. Harry James, Phoenix, Ariz; a sister, Mrs. Hester Peckham, Sturgis, Mich.; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Scheumann-Van Buskirk Funeral Home, will be returned to the William DeWert home in Monroeville Tuesday forenoon. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Monroeville Methodist Church, the Rev. Edwin Jaycox officiating. Burial will be in the Monroeville IOOF Cemetery.
