Teresa Kay Borton, 47, of Clay City, IL died at 11:30 PM on Thursday (July 9, 2009) at her home.

She was born March 7, 1962 in Henderson, KY to Rawleigh Wilson & Marcella (Dunahee) Schofield.

She married Anthony Paul Rudolph on January 29, 1984 in Clay City then married Rick Miller in 1989 also in Clay City. She later married Dennis Borton on June 5, 1999 in Orchardville, IL and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2008.

She was a team leader at Hella then later became a truck driver and attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bethany and also Flora Assembly of God. Teresa loved horses, trucks and angels.

She is survived by her step-mother: Sally Schofield of Clay City; children: Tonya Marie Pesarchic & Patrick Lee of Decatur, Shaina Pickens & husband Lee of Ingraham, Shannon Borton of Flora, and Brianna Burgess of Flora; 6 grandchildren: Haley, Reagan, Ryder, Alyson, Aliyah & Ayvah; 2 brothers: Darrell Schofield & wife Debbie and Bill Schofield & wife Pam all of Clay City; 3 sisters: Janet Steckenrider & husband David of Marion, Melody Sowers & husband Steve of Bethany, and Angela Hemrich & husband Carl of Clay City; 2 step-sisters: Rebecca Daugherty & husband Wyatt of Greenup and Miki Babbit of Allentown, PA; 2 step-brothers: David Bice & wife Kathy of Winnetka and Kevin Bice & wife Sheila of Brandon, WI; special friends: Ruth Ann Weiler & Jason Farris along with many other friends, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dennis.

Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday (July 14, 2009) at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with burial in Foster Hill Cemetery, Clay City. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Clay County Hospice.
