Harry Vann Rites Set Wednesday

Funeral services for Harry Lister Vann, 40, Tangent, will be at the Fortmiller - Whitaker funeral home Wednesday at 10 a.m. (DST). Vann was killed Friday in an auto accident southeast of Albany.

Mr. Vann was born on Jan. 13, 1922 at Portland and lived in the Albany area since moving here in 1952. He was an installer-repairman for Pacific Northwest Bell company. The World War II veteran was married on June 28, 1947, at Vancouver, Wash. He was a member of the Tangent Volunteer fire department.

He is survived by his widow, Lorraine, two children, Lynn Vann, 14, and Marlene 13; four brothers from Portland, Jim, George, Lydge, and Lynn; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Vann, Portland.

The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Harold Shellhart. Burial will follow in the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland at 1 p.m. (DST).
