Notes of Olive Kaune, who researched the family starting in the early 20's
Sarah had a brother James White Robinson, who married her Husband Milton Armstrong's Sister, Polly Armstrong, It seems Sarah had some long lingering illness, and before she died she asked to be buried next to her sons in Wisconsin, Milton took her body to be buried next to her three sons in Platteville, Wisconsin, two of whom died while in the Civil War, one died while on Furlough.

Song of the Death of J. B. Armstrong, Written by James D. Bailey, his friend
Come Platteville Rangers let us Mourn
A comrade's form lies cold in death
A soldier from our ranks is torn
The first to yield life's fleeting breath
No conflict dire around him rage
No smoky pall surround him
But in dying couch he lays
Till death in mercy found him
No gory shroud enclosed his form
No bloody banner round him
But lay in his Blue Uniform
With death's cold grasp around him
We place a guard around the tent
In which his comrades placed him
And watched through out the gloomy night
Till morning did release them
We slowly raised his lifeless form
And in his coffin placed him
And sent him to his boyhood Home
With mourning friends we left him
