Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd., Rev. Berman G. Smith officiating. Burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Mrs. Yoder will lie in state at the funeral home after 3 PM Saturday.
Mrs. Yoder was born in McConnell, Ill., November 29, 1887, and had resided in Flint since 1917.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Yoder, September 1, 1964. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary February 23, 1961.
Mrs. Yoder was a charter member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, was the first church historian, a Sunday School teacher from 1921 to 1964, the first Missionary Treasurer of the Sunday School of Christian Missionary and Alliance Church and served for 16 years. She contributed over 1,000 hours of volunteer Red Cross work during World War II.
Surviving are: son, Frank R. Yoder and daughter-in-law, Lucille of Burton; 2 grandsons, Terry Yoder and wife Judy of Davison and Tom Yoder and wife Dodi of Saginaw; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Ottenhausen of Lakeland, Florida; nieces and nephews; good friend, Dorothy Gilbert of Columbiaville.
