Henry Noble Bridgman was the youngest child of Abner Pomeroy Bridgman and Hannah Strong (Ludden) Bridgman. He died in Westhampton, Massachusetts, nine years before his family moved to Florence. He would have been buried originally in the Center Cemetery in Westhampton. It is not known whether his remains still lie in Westhampton, or whether his body was moved to Spring Grove at a later date. There is no record of him being in Westhampton.
