Rev. James Knox Polk Underhill was the son of Joseph and Rachel Margaret (Arntz) Underhill. Sarah Frances "Frankie" (Davis) Underhill was his 1st wife. They were married January 13, 1875. Sarah died December 9, 1893. Emma M. (Gelser) Underhill was his 2nd wife. They were married October 18, 1894. Emma died February 25, 1958. Rev. Underhill was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: L 1870 Central New York Conference F 1874 Located 1877 Readmitted Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1880.
