Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the First and Puckett Funeral Home, where friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The former Marion Briggs was born in Galesburg April 14, 1930, and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was married to Mr. Thompson in Galesburg Jan. 8, 1958.
Survivors are the husband; two sons, James Allan and Rodney Dean and a daughter Patricia Ann, all at home; three brothers, Clarence, Wayne and Gene Briggs, of Galesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Darlene) Thompson and Mrs. Robert (Doris) Thompson, of Maquon and her mother, Mrs. William Baughman of Hermon. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Briggs.
