Josephine Andrews Hower, a retired account executive at Merill Lynch, died Thursday at her home. She was 88. Mrs. Hower was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lived in New Orleans for the past 38 years. She was a member of Manor Planters, the Quarter Cemetery Club and a volunteer for Peace Lake Tower for the past 10 years. Survivors include a brother, Louis C. Andrews. A memorial Mass will be said Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 9701 Hammond St. A graveside service was held April 4 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston. Vickers, Verrette & Dornan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
