Roland Randall Skelton was the son of Mattie Grace Randall-Skelton (Aug. 8, 1906 - April 8, 1927). Mattie Grace Randall-Skelton died during childbirth (in Hart County, GA.) Roland Randall Skelton (named in honor of his grandfather, Roland Pickney Randall; February 2, 1866 - August 23, 1915) was raised by his grandmother, Eugenia “Genie” Bishop-Randall in Franklin County, GA... as evidenced in the 1930 & 1940 U.S. Census.
