Sarah HISCOCK was born to Luther HISCOCK (1801-1879) and Persis HIGBEE (1805-1896) on 8 May 1838 in Pompey, Onondaga Co., New York.

Sarah married William Henry BUSH (b. 18 Aug 1838, d. 16 Apr 1910, son of William Watson BUSH and Content GRIMES) on 30 May 1859 in Pompey. They had 6 children, the two oldest were born in Pompey, and the rest were born in Michigan:

--After a long and paintful sickness born with christian fortitude, Mrs. William Bush passed away on Wednesday last. The funeral services were held at the house Friday, Rev. N.E. Doty of Grand Ledge officiating and the remains taken to Howell for interment.
