Musician. Born Edith Bolling Boyd, she was a singer guitar player, whom with her twin sisters Elena and Mildred, was a member of the popular trio The Del Rubio Triplets. In 1985, Grammy winning songwriter Allee Willis discovered the group and started presenting them at her parties where they garnered much notable attention. Their biggest recorded hit was an acoustic-guitar cover version of the Devo song "Whip It". They also appeared of TV shows such as "Married with Children", "Full House", "Night Court", McDonalds fast food commercials and in the feature film "Americathon" (1979). After her death in Torrance, California, the group disbanded.
