This is my Grandpa Ken. In my eyes he knew everything and could do everything.

My Grandpa Ken absolutely loved my Grandma Margie. They unfortunately had no children together. They had my Daddy and that was enough for them. They spent all their spare time together. Their marriage was the kind I hoped for and have.

I loved going to his house in Santa Barbara, and go up on the hill of their property so that I could listen to the doves and smell the ocean.

My Grandpa Ken served in Pacific Theater during World War II. He was on the USS Pawnee (AT-74)(ATF-74), a tugboat that went out to tow and repair the ships in the US fleet.

He loved the ocean and I think that's why they lived to close to it and why he had his ashes scattered at sea.

I am his only son's second daughter and I absolutely adored my Grandpa Ken.

He was one of the only people who truly understood me and treated me like an equal.

He always called me Kat and I loved being called that and I miss being called that!

I love you my sweet Grandpa Ken!!
