OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - July 26, 1949
Gerald Lee Gidley, 8, son of Truman Gidley, 1395 Glenn avenue, died Monday evening at 10:30 o'clock in the Wabash County hospital where he was admitted Monday afternoon. Death was caused by diabetes.
Gerald was born on March 15, 1941, in Wabash to Truman and Helen Louise (Harden) Gidley. His mother died in 1943. He was affiliated with the South Side E.U.B. church.
Surviving are the father and step-mother, 2 brothers, Jack and David, the paternal grandfather, Earl Gidley, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Harden, all of Wabash.
The body was taken to the wire Funeral home and will be returned to the residence Wednesday morning where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the South Side E.U.B. church with the Rev. William Nagle officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
