LaSallian Christian Brother, age 73, passed into eternal life Saturday, in Lincroft, NJ. Br. Daniel is the son of the late Vincent and Gertrude Goeddeke of Detroit. He is lovingly remembered by the entire Goeddeke family. Br. Daniel, a 1954 graduate of St Joseph HS, Detroit, received the habit of the Christian Brothers in 1957. He earned degrees from Catholic University, Manhattan College and the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, NYC. He will be remembered fondly by many whom he influenced during his 53 years of LaSallian service for the Christian education of youth in New York and Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins, White Lake, MI on Saturday, August 15, at 11 a.m. There will be no wake. Interment will be private at Mt. Olivet in Detroit. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to DeLaSalle Hall, 850 Newman Springs Rd, Lincroft NJ, 07738.
