Services for David L. Travis, 20, of Meridian, Idaho, who died Monday, Aug. 2, 1971, near Dillion, Mont., as the result of a car-motorcycle accident, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian.
The Rev. Charles W. Easley of the Meridian United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Meridian Cemetery.
Mr. Travis was born Aug. 11, 1950, at Nampa. He had lived in Meridian for the past 13 years, where he had attended Meridian schools and was graduated from Meridian High School in 1968. He was employed at Terminal Ice and Cold Storage Co., in Nampa. He would have been married on Aug. 13.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Travis, Meridian; a brother, Lester Travis, Meridian; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Musick, Nampa; and a paternal grandfather, Wade Travis, Boise; He was preceded in death by a sister, Terry.
