He was a man with an interesting career. He left Amesbury in his youth for the West Coast and settled in China where he became a hotel owner. When World War II approached, he moved back to the United States and resided at Las Vegas since 1943.
He considered Amesbury his home and returned to spend many summers at his home on Hillside Avenue. Many people remember his contributions to local organizations and institutions.
