Jenny Moore Terry, age 89, of Wytheville, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1992, in the Mountain View Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. at the St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Laurie McAlpine officiating. Interment will be in the East End Cemetery. She was born in Wytheville, the daughter of the late William & Virginia Moore Terry. She was a retired kindergarten and elementary school teacher and a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church. She is survived by three nieces, Sally Stark of Bristol, Ethel Counselman of Salem and Fort Myers, FL; one nephew, Ben Counselman of Fort Myers, FL; and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Logan Room of St. John's Episcopal Church from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The family suggests that those who prefer may make memorials to the St. John's Episcopal Church. Barnett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
