JDF is listed here as being a Spanish American War Vet., at the rank of Colonel, and was a staff officer for General Wilson, being in the engineering corps.
The obit list his college's as Sewanee and Lehigh
Note.. This grave is unmarked, next to and North of his mother Mrs. Katherine Lee Ferguson. Just North of him is his sister Percy Ferguson, also unmarked. General Ferguson is buried in Greenville Cemetery in Jackson Mississippi.
