F. A. CORNWELL, prominent farmer and citizen of the 14th Dist. died at his home on Salt Lick on the 23rd of Jan., 1928. He was born June 21st 1851; age 76 yr., 7 mo., 2 day.
He married MARTHA “MATTIE” DIXON, Feb 4th 1872 and to them were born 6 children. Four boys survive him, AMBROSE, SAM, PINK and PERCY who live in the 14th District. His devoted wife died about 7 year ago.
MR. CORNWELL was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian for 40 years. Bro. CORNWELL has been a master Mason of New Bethel Lodge No. 523, F. & A. M. Funeral Service were conducted by W. M. DYCUS with interment in the family ground near the late home.
