Professional Football Player. Born Stanislaus Clarence Kostka in Saint Paul, Minnesota, he was a fullback for the University of Minnesota Gophers football team which won the 1934 National Champion. In 1935, he played for the NFL Brooklyn Dodgers and later was head coach of the North Dakota State Bison football team (1941, 1946-47). He also served as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy during World War II. He died at age 84 in Fargo, North Dakota.
